1. What should I do if an item doesn’t fit me? Can I exchange it?          

    Yes, you can. Simply indicate your new preferred size on your Return Form and return the item within the specified deadline (see Return Policy under Shipping for more terms and conditions). One-for-one size exchanges are free and shipping of the new size back to you is free. However, if you are based out of Singapore, the new package may incur another round of taxes and duties, for which you will be charged. Size exchanges are based on stock availability. If your requested size is out of stock, we will refund you the full amount of the item.

    Shopthemag makes every effort to ensure you get as much sizing and measurement info as possible so that you can make accurate purchases. Make sure to check out “This item’s measurements”, “Size and Fit” and “Size Guide” before purchasing an item. Final Sale items cannot be exchanged or refunded. 

  2. How do I go about returning my item?

    Every item to be returned needs to be accompanied by a Return Form (one form for each item). Re-pack the item in its original package (including accoutrements like garment bags, brand pamphlets, dust bags, authenticity cards, etc) and send it back to us at the following address:

    Delivery costs back to SHOPTHEMAG are borne by the customer. We advise you to use a reputable shipper like Fedex or SingPost to ensure your package is returned on time and undamaged.

    Please note that returns will not be accepted if:

    • The item has been worn, altered, soiled, washed or damaged.
    • The item’s garment tags and SHOPTHEMAG tags have been removed.
    • Parts of the delivery are missing, for eg, cases, garment bags, authenticity cards, etc.
    • The item is returned after the specified deadline (within 15 business days internationally and 7 business days within Singapore).

  3. Do I have to pay for return shipping back to Shopthemag?

    Yes, return shipping to SHOPTHEMAG is borne by the customer. In the rare instance of a package – and correspondingly, its contents – arriving damaged as a result of negligent handling and shipping, and upon verification that the damage was caused during the shipping process, shipping charges may be refunded to you.

  4. What should I do if my package arrives damaged?

    For a start, do not accept or sign for any package that looks like it is damaged or has been tampered with.

    At SHOPTHEMAG, we quality-control and check every item before it is dispatched to you. Delicate items are wrapped in tissue or bubble-wrap to ensure maximum protection during transportation.

    Should an item reach you damaged, it is important that you contact us within 24 hours of receipt of the product.

  5. Who handles the payment for SHOPTHEMAG?

    All payments on SHOPTHEMAG are handled by PayPal, the world’s most established and secure payment gateway. We accept the following major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express.

  6. Is it safe for me to use my credit card online?

    All payments on SHOPTHEMAG are handled by PayPal, which is the world leader in online payments. Paypal has developed one of the most advanced proprietary fraud-prevention system to ensure your personal information (like credit card numbers) is kept safe and secure.

  7. Does SHOPTHEMAG insure my purchases?

    Yes, SHOPTHEMAG insures every purchase from the time it leaves our warehouse to when it reaches you. Upon the arrival of your purchase, we will need your signature, at which point the responsibility for your purchase is passed on to you.

  8. I am a lot more familiar with UK sizing. How would I know if an item in Small or Medium would fit me?

    We strongly recommend that you check out the following guides before making your purchase:

    Size & Fit: This portion on every description page tells you details about the item you are looking at, offers you sizing suggestions and tells you the sizes the models/mannequins in the pictures are wearing.

  9. How will SHOPTHEMAG refund me my money?

    Refunds are given back to the customer in the form of cash back into your account via PayPal. The full value of your order will be refunded. Shipping charges are not refundable. Shipping costs may only be refunded in cases of damaged deliveries.

  10. Do you keep my particulars private?

    SHOPTHEMAG assures you that all personal information submitted to the site will be kept private and secure. SHOPTHEMAG will not disclose or sell your information to any third party.

    In order to process your online order, we may require details like your billing/shipping addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses. We may need to share these details with PayPal in order to verify your order, however, Paypal’s privacy policy ensures your details will be kept secure and private.

  11. What is my deadline for returning items?

    If you are based in Singapore, you have to return your items within 5 business days*. If you are based out of Singapore, you have to return your items within 15 business days.

    * Business Days are days outside of Sundays and Singapore Public Holidays.

  12. Which shipping company does SHOPTHEMAG use?

    For shipping within Singapore, SHOPTHEMAG engages SingPost. For international shipping, our carrier is Federal Express (Fedex).

  13. Do you have economy shipping prices?

    SHOPTHEMAG has engaged Fedex as our international shipper and unfortunately economy options are not offered by them. SHOPTHEMAG will however continue to search and negotiate for the best shipping prices for our international customers.

    In the meantime, SHOPTHEMAG has chosen to ship using Fedex International Priority service that claims to be the fastest and safest globally.

    SHOPTHEMAG offers flat-rate international shipping, hence we suggest you gather as many purchases as possible in one shipment to make it keep unit costs low.

  14. Do I have to pay taxes upon checkout?

    No, you do not. The total amount shown in your final checkout bill includes only the item cost and shipping cost. Taxes and duties may be levied by your destination country. These costs will be borne by the customer and will be collected in cash by Fedex upon delivery of the package.

  15. I wish to return something but can't find the Return Form.           

    A hard copy of the Return Form is attached to every package that is shipped to the customer. If you intend to return more than one item, please make additional copies  of the Return Form as one copy is required for EACH item to be returned. Alternatively, go to Return Policy under Shipping to download your Return Form.
